SA: Scrub fire near Pinnaroo under control

ADELAIDE, Dec 18 AAP - Firefighters today controlled a scrub fire which burned about
750 hectares near Pinnaroo, in eastern South Australia.

A Country Fire Service (CFS) spokesman said favourable weather conditions overnight
helped crews contain the fire, which started yesterday afternoon in the state's east.

Six CFS units were mopping up the fire this morning and a flyover was being conducted
with a CFS observer on board.
