Ray Holland sighs when he says "When people think of boxing, they always make the association with pro boxing. I'm tired of that!"

Abox er himself in his younger days, Holland has several lightweight national and international championships to his credit including both Air Force and Army championships, a Montreal championship, and more Golden Gloves championships than he can remember.

He's also been a coach/trainer, was head coach for the New York State Games in 1978-1979 and is a former president of the South Mall Boxing Club.
