Vic:Elderly man in critical condition after cyclist hit-run
A man aged in his 60s is fighting for his life after being knocked down by a cyclistin a hit and run in Melbourne's west.
Police say the man was standing on Hampshire Road, Sunshine, about 12.20pm (AEST) whentwo cyclists passed by, one of them knocking him over.
Police believe the cyclists rode off, leaving the man lying on the road with serioushead injuries.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police have released a computer image of a man they wish to speak to, along with aphotograph of a distinctive Australian flag cap believed to be worn by one of the cyclists.
